I’m 34 days away from my birthday! And of course, the birthday is the first of the year and everyone is getting ready for the big party. This means a lot of exciting things happening. I’m also planning my next meal, so I’m taking a moment to focus on what I’m eating the next time I go out and order a plate of food.
That’s right, 34 days from now. You’ve probably already heard that we’re starting the new year right now. So what’s the big deal? Well, it’s the time of year when we get to meet all the friends we’ve missed in the past year, and our friends are starting to get together. This is a great time to reconnect with old friends and meet new ones, and it’s the perfect time to plan the perfect birthday party.
Ok, so the plan is for us to be planning a birthday party for my sister this year. Weve been discussing this for a while now, and we are both hoping that there will be no major issues with the date. In the past, Ive given her the date of her birthday party without much input from her. So shes in a good mood up until the last minute or two before the event, when it begins to get crowded.
In this case, I thought that I was going to be able to change the date of her birthday party to next year, but the date is booked for next year. Although I did change the date of the party for my parents, there were some issues with the venue. I feel that its ok to change the date of a birthday party, as long as the change is not major. But I dont want to have to change it every year, and its not like I had much to change.
As for the event itself, I dont know what it is like… but this year we have a year-end party, and that was my birthday party. In the event of a year being held, I could give you a hint. I know this probably isn’t the party you want to have anyway, but when I was a kid, the party I had was held in the yard by the neighbor’s kids. It used to be fun, but its been a long time since I’ve had a good time.
